IMPACT – HIGH (all affected)
Background: The new work visa points system that has been announced and highly anticipated in the past month has finally debuted yesterday in various cities such as Shanghai, Beijing and Guangdong. We have had various updates on this front already, so we shall delve directly into the new updates we have received so far.
What is to change? Since the debut we have finally got our hands on how the points will be awarded. Last news update we talked about how certain qualified people may be automatically qualified for Tier A or Tier B without the need for points. If you have missed this update please email us and we will send you that article.
Currently to be qualified for tier A you must have 85+ points. For Tier B you must have 60-85 points. Tier C are below 60 points and will be strictly limited.
